PUBLIC ART

At Albert Smith Signs we collaborate closely with the artist to provide a full turnkey solution to their artwork, from the initial concept right through to installation.

Our service includes design development, engineering, construction, project management and installation throughout Australia. Our first art commission – design development, manufacture and installation for artist Daniel Templeman, is a city landmark and a striking entry statement to the Brisbane Magistrates Courts.

The public artworks we’ve manufactured since then have included a vast range of materials and methodologies, including works using steel, aluminium, tiles, acrylic, water jets, LED’s, theatrical lighting, soft fall and delicate suspended Swarovski crystals.

The execution of the project is aligned with the vision of the artist, ensuring their design intent is met, but also making sure the work is buildable and maintainable. The strength of our offer is our broad skills base, experience and capabilities in a controlled manufacturing environment.

By engaging Albert Smith Signs you benefit from 18 years of experience in private, corporate and government artwork commissions. You are ensured of the highest quality product, delivered on time and on budget.
