We are especially proud and privileged to have be chosen as the sign manufacturer and installer for the suite of internal and external building signage, pylon sign and wayfinding for the first dealership roll out – Village Holden, Northlakes.
After more than a year of research, design and testing, the three-year ‘Dealership of the Future’ project has started rolling out with the first dealership to wear the new-look Holden identity opening in metropolitan Brisbane. Holden Chairman and Managing Director Mark Bernhard said “Holden is evolving our brand to appeal to a broader audience and nothing is more important in this journey than dealerships – they are the front line of our great brand”.
The 6.5m entry pylon sign was manufactured with rolled aluminium composite material (ACM), in the new Holden corporate colours, clad to the steel supporting frame.
The pylon sign lettering was 3D Permasign letters, with polycarbonate day and night acrylic faces which delivers white illumination at night whilst remaining black in daylight when not illuminated. The Holden logo background was fabricated aluminium coated to match the corporate colours with the LED illuminated chrome lion logo centrally positioned.
The height of the pylon sign was highlighted by a curved line of illuminated red acrylic, achieved via extruded and moulded acrylic sections, both created specifically for the project and illuminated with AsTech red LED’s.
The fascia signs were also constructed in ACM with illuminated Permasign 3D building letters, highlighted in red with the extruded and moulded acrylic. Permasign building lettering is manufactured using computer precision fabrication to provide perfect 3D reproduction, rendering even the most intricate designs and complex logos flawlessly.
