Winning this opportunity in Berri, SA meant not only being involved in a great branding project, it also meant working with one of Australia’s great wine producing companies.
Our project was for both Accolade Wines and Berri Estates which operate out of the same facility. Accolade Wines is the number one wine company in Australia and draws on a proud heritage as one of the first wineries established in Australia, treading its first grapes in 1853. Today Accolade Wines has evolved into a global wine company, producing some of the world’s best-known brands.
The starting point for the brands at tender stage looked nothing like the end result. We worked with the builder H Troon and Accolade Wines/ Berri Estate to recreate the building signs to achieve the visual performance standards expected of these well-known brands. The connection detailing for these very large building signs (7m high x 6m wide) was difficult but was achieved with creative solutions and of course engineer certification. The scope also included 3 illuminated wayfinding signs and a back of reception wall sign.
