Topshop Topman Brisbane’s store is the largest in Australia, spread across three levels at the old Borders bookstore site, on the corner of Elizabeth and Albert streets in Brisbane’s CBD. It features the brands entire range with over 50,000 pieces of clothing and accessories.
Albert Smith Signs were engaged to manufacture and install both the external and internal corporate signage to international specifications, with a very short lead time for the anticipated fashion frenzy for the store opening.
The external building signage includes high-level signs, suspended and under awning signs. All of the illuminated signage has utilised environmentally friendly ASTech low voltage LED’s to deliver reduced power consumption, cost savings on future maintenance and to dramatically reduce the “whole of Life” costs.
The high level off-wall LED signs ensure the Topshop branding stands out and are opal acrylic letters with an application of matte black vinyl leaving a surrounding line of illumination.
The suspended illuminated signs at each entry have a stainless steel background with opal acrylic letters applied, with matte black vinyl whilst the cantilevered under awning signs are folded aluminium with a satin black finish.
The internal neon signs deliver Topshop’s branding message of individuality and difference with an exciting in-store look and feel. Snow white neon letters encased within a thick clear acrylic case were used to make an individual and dramatic statement, as only neon can. Neon today is an art form and neon tube can be fabricated in curving artistic shapes to form letters such as those shaped for Topshop.
Albert Smith Signs can deliver a true work of art for your corporate signage. Whatever you can imagine, we can deliver!
