As an Australian manufacturer and sign maker, Albert Smith Signs are proud to have been chosen to manufacture and install the branding elements that continue to enhance and customise Sunshine Plaza’s identity as a unique shopping and outdoor leisure and dining precinct.
One of the main features of the centre currently being manufactured and installed is the architectural signage – Sunshine Plaza Archways – centrally located over the River Walk precinct.
The archway design is manufactured from fabricated aluminium circles painted Sunshine Plaza blue on the western elevation with opal acrylic faces overlaid with translucent blue vinyl with ASTech LED’s for illumination. On the eastern front facing elevation, the fabricated aluminium circles are painted grey to match the framework. The faces of these aluminium circles are closed with a Permasign fabricated top cap that holds over 13,000 individually programmable exposed LED bud lights – so that colour and movement can be changed to suit special events in the centre.
At Sunshine Plaza, Albert Smith Signs have manufactured and installed high-level signs, building signs, illuminated and non-illuminated signs, and way finding signage for the transformation of this unique shopping and dining destination.
